Crypto analyst Jason Pizzino predicts that the true altcoin season is yet to come, despite the recent surge in some digital assets. Based on historical patterns and Bitcoin's halving events, Pizzino believes that the altcoin season will arrive around October 2024.
Pizzino explains that the current market conditions do not indicate the altcoin season that most investors are waiting for. However, he emphasizes that there are still good gains to be made. According to Pizzino, the massive altcoin season, with the potential for the biggest gains, is still ahead of us.
Analyzing BTC bull market cycles, Pizzino notes that they typically last three years. The first 18 months confirm the bullish uptrend, followed by 18 months of significant gains. He points out that the altcoin season usually begins in the second half, months after the Bitcoin halving event.
Pizzino provides examples from previous cycles to support his prediction. In October 2020, Ethereum experienced a 1,300% rise, while in October 2016, it saw a 2,200% increase. Similarly, Solana had a 20,000% surge in October 2020, and Cardano witnessed a 3,400% rise during the same period.
Based on historical data and market patterns, Pizzino suggests that investors should anticipate the altcoin season to begin around October 2024. He advises caution and encourages investors to conduct their own research before making any high-risk investments in cryptocurrencies or digital assets.
