Crypto whales have recently made significant transfers of Ethereum (ETH) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) worth hundreds of millions of dollars. These transactions were detected by the blockchain tracker Whale Alert.
According to on-chain data obtained by Whale Alert, a large crypto holder moved 150,000 ETH from an unknown wallet to the Kraken crypto exchange. This transfer was made in three separate transactions, each consisting of an equal amount of ETH. The total value of the ETH moved was approximately $269.8 million. At the time of writing, Ethereum is trading at $1,803.
Whale Alert also detected a significant transfer of Shiba Inu memecoin. A whale moved nearly 4.5 trillion SHIB, worth slightly under $36 million, from an unknown wallet to another unknown wallet. The current trading price of Shiba Inu is $0.00000799.
In addition to the Ethereum and Shiba Inu transfers, Whale Alert identified large crypto holders relocating varying amounts of XRP and Solana (SOL). The combined value of these transfers is over $98 million. XRP is currently worth $0.604, while Solana is trading at $36.60.
These recent transfers by crypto whales highlight the significant movement of funds within the cryptocurrency market. Investors should stay informed about such transactions and consider them when making investment decisions.
